banner
shows a traditional tikanagen with a baby inside of it. I put a
loon, moon and trilliums on the banner as a tribute to North Western
Ontario. In the background are logs. This banner pays tribute to the Aboriginal history and culture. Because of our location in North Western Ontario, we have the privilege and honour of sharing our history and culture with the Native peoples of this area. The original photo was taken by my dad, LaMar Weaver. Both my family and I work with the local Impact North Ministries Mission Agency. Impact North works with Aboriginal people of Ontario. The baby represents the new life that comes with Christ and hope for the future. |
