“Fairwind’s Drummer”
Eric Robinson 16, worker in local
grocery
store, high school student
The imagery of this
banner
shows a Native man hitting Fairwind’s drum under a thunderbird.
This image reflects the history of the area because it is of Native
man, who lived here first. He is hitting a drum that they used for a
variety of ceremonial purposes. There is also a spiritual Native
symbol which reflects the Woodland art style that many believe
originated in our area.
