Photo Gallery 2007

In 2007 the Heritage Centre gave the exhibit room a face lift and it was about time! Local carpenters, Chris and Clayton Fleming, were hired to first construct our newest exhibition, Three Centuries of Fur Trading. Next they gave a number of our most popular exhibits a fresh new look. All the exhibits were designed and created in-house by the Heritage Centre staff. Below are a few photos showing the process.

Below: A locker room was created to display the Centre's collection of sports memorabilia, from hockey to baseball to curling.

Below: A Prospector's tent was created and a space to exhibit Red Lake aviation history. We even brought out Fair Wind's drum, a ceremonial drum, in very delicate condition.
